GLOBAL LANGUAGE STRATEGIES is seeking an experienced Thai-to-English or English-to-Thai translator and editor for remote, ongoing freelance work. The role involves translating and editing official documents such as vital records, legal documents, official certificates, and academic transcripts with quick turnaround timelines.

Candidates should have 2–5 years of translation/editor experience, native or proficient skills in Thai and English, and the ability to work independently while maintaining

• U.S. citizenship and residency in the United States required.
• Native or high proficiency in Thai and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in translation, linguistics, language studies preferred.
• 2–5 years of proven translation/editor experience.
• Strong attention to detail and client-ready formatting.
• Reliable, deadline-oriented, independent work style.
• Excellent communication and professional approach.
• Access to up-to-date Windows software and standard document formats.
• Provide per-word rates for translation and editing.
• Willingness to accept assignments on an as-needed basis.

Responsabilidades

• Translate Thai to English or English to Thai into an accurate product.
• Edit and review translated materials for accuracy, grammar, formatting, and consistency.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow client-specific instructions and formatting requirements.
• Meet assigned deadlines, including one-to-two-day turnaround timelines, when required.
