GLOBAL LANGUAGE STRATEGIES is seeking experienced Thai-to-English and/or English-to-Thai translators and editors for a remote, ongoing freelance contractor role. Work focuses on a U.S. govt client translating vital records, legal documents, and academic transcripts.

Candidates must be native Thai and near-native English, hold a translation degree, and have 3–5 years of related experience. Strong deadlines, reliability, and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• Native Thai with strong English ability and reliable output.
• Bachelor's degree in translation or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of proven translator/editor experience.
• Reliable, deadlines-focused, and productive.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with current Windows software.
• Excellent document formatting skills.
• Comfort with 1–2 day turnarounds.
• Provide per-word rates for translation or editing.

Responsibilities
