Job summary

KellyMitchell Group seeks a Test Lead to guide testing activities across the project lifecycle. You will own test planning, case development, execution, defect management, and stakeholder reporting for enterprise-scale initiatives.

The role requires leading SIT/UAT, coordinating resources, and maintaining JIRA dashboards and metrics. Remote work is offered for a 6-month contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test management roles.
• Experience leading testing efforts for enterprise-level projects.
• Proven experience writing, executing, and managing SIT and UAT test cases.
• Strong experience facilitating meetings and presenting testing status to leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing JIRA for testing initiatives.
• Experience tracking defects, maintaining dashboards, and producing testing metrics and reporting.
• Familiarity with Waterfall project methodologies.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and UAT across projects.
• Develop, execute, and manage test cases to validate requirements.
• Facilitate daily or twice-daily testing meetings; primary testing contact.
• Coordinate testing resources across project teams.
• Maintain JIRA spaces, dashboards, workflows, and testing docs.
• Track testing progress; provide status updates to managers and leadership.
• Collaborate with BAs, PMs, architects, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor defect resolution and ensure retesting.
• Support project delivery through planning sessions and governance.
• Ensure testing aligns with project methodologies and standards.
