Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Part-Time Territory Sales Associate to cover a remote region in Mentor, OH. The role involves visiting 6-10+ accounts daily, working 20-25 hours per week with a core overlap of 6:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday. You will drive your own vehicle, travel long distances, and receive mileage reimbursement.

A HS diploma and 3–4 years in food merchandising are preferred. Starting hourly rate is $15.50-$16.50, with potential variations by skill and geography.

Qualifications

• Experience in food merchandising preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid US state issued driver’s license.
• Must have a personal vehicle in sound operating condition.
• Must maintain personal auto insurance with minimum coverage.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Selling and Retail Execution: maintain 100% distribution of authorized Hershey items, and ensure flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans.
• Utilize consultative selling to interpret store priorities and influence solutions.
• Establish and execute retail priorities prior to each store call, aligned to objectives.
• Apply influence and negotiation techniques to secure opportunities and commitments.
• Lead problem-solving efforts to implement right solutions and ensure optimal outcomes.
