Job summary

Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Territory Sales Executive for the Allentown, PA area to manage and grow hospital-based sales, coordinating multi-department activity from concept to implementation. This is a remote, in-territory role with a 50% travel expectation; we offer a base salary of $110,000–$115,000 plus bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in field with 5+ years of related healthcare sales experience.
• Master’s degree with 3+ years of related healthcare sales experience.
• Experience engaging multiple call points within the hospital, to include both laboratory and outside-of-the laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with all pertinent department stakeholders within the acute care/hospital setting to maintain, promote and sell Cepheid's Value Proposition inclusive of all instrumentation and testing applications.
• Develop demand for and adoption of new assays and instrumentation within existing and prospective account base to achieve assigned territory goals.
• Coordinate between the customer and Cepheid personnel and for ensuring that all new product and system implementations are executed to meet customer expectations.
• Optimize cycle time by using Salesforce.com (CRM tool) to maintain customer and account activity, to map visibility and drive market share, and to prioritize sales funnel.
