Job summary

Prism Biotech, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Primary Care to join our team in the San Francisco area. You will educate physicians, promote products, and build relationships with clinics and offices to support patient care and company growth.

You will manage a defined territory, participate in trainings, and develop plans to reach sales goals while upholding high ethical standards and compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Some sales experience and/or abilities.
• Consultative selling experience preferred.
• Must be able to work remotely and the ability to use Zoom software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to target health professionals to maximize sales growth and increase product volume.
• Possess effective selling skills and product knowledge to influence targeted health care professionals to prescribe promoted products.
• Obtain pharmaceutical sales training with industry education.
• Analyze territory information to optimize routing and achieve sales results.
• Acquire and maintain industry credentials and vendor credentialing.
• Utilize sales tools, resources and supporting analysis to plan activity.

Responsibilities

• Manage territory accounts and identify key decision makers.
• Inform highly influential physicians about pharmaceutical and medical products.
• Balance time spent with customers to achieve expected results.
• Keep product knowledge updated and plan to win in the healthcare marketplace.
• Create territory plans with goals and resource allocation.
• Gain formulary acceptance/compliance with managed care accounts.
• Complete pharmaceutical sales training.
• Team with customers as a business partner to develop account plans.
• Utilize consultative skills to assist customers' business needs.
• Obtain all industry credentials and vendor credentialing.
