Job summary

Glatfelter Insurance Group seeks a Territory Distribution Leader for VFIS to drive strategic growth and optimize distribution channels across the United States. The role emphasizes building partnerships with agencies, brokers, and intermediaries while aligning with sales, marketing, underwriting, and product teams.

The position is remote but requires residency in the Western Pennsylvania territory, with regular travel to industry events and partners as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in distribution management or sales leadership in insurance/fin/services.
• Proven ability to grow distribution channels and manage territories.
• Strong understanding of VFIS products and the public safety insurance market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory-specific distribution strategies to achieve sales and growth targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners (agencies, brokers, intermediaries).
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, underwriting, and product teams for alignment and support.
• Provide training and support to distribution partners to improve product knowledge and sales.
• Track and report key performance metrics for distribution activities and territory growth.
• Manage territory budgets and resources for ROI optimization.
• Represent VFIS at industry events to promote brand and network.
