Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of industry experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of multiline commercial underwriting experience with underwriting authority required; 3+ years preferred.
- Relevant insurance industry certifications (e.g., CIC or CPCU) are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite: analyze risks, price, negotiate, and decide on commercial business.
- Market and solicit business to build a strong agency network in the territory.
- Develop the territory through strategic planning and agency appointments.
- Lead agencies and collaborate with field disciplines to ensure success.
- Research market trends and communicate insights to inform decisions.
