Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ability to communicate clearly in English in written, oral, and verbal formats.
• 1 year of healthcare experience involving direct, compassionate communication with patients and families.
• Ability to sit for long periods, focus, multi-task and observe multiple patients.
• Computer literacy and professional communication required.

Responsibilities

• Remotely observe multiple patients to identify safety-related behaviors.
• Document observations, interventions, and events in tele-sitting software.
• Communicate patient needs to nursing staff.
• Intervene professionally to redirect unsafe behavior and alert staff when necessary.
• Participate in ongoing educational activities and complete assigned goals.
