Job summary

Davies North America seeks a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager (Remote) with a Florida RN license to lead medical claim management and facilitate cost-effective return-to-work outcomes. You will monitor, assess, and coordinate care for workers’ compensation cases, ensuring timely, high‑quality services while maintaining privacy and regulatory compliance.

The role requires independent decision-making, 3+ years WC experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• FL RN license is required.
• RN with a minimum of three years clinical experience (medical-surgical, orthopedic, neurological, ICCU, industrial, ER or occupational).
• 3+ years of workers’ compensation experience.
• Proof of current State Licensure, compact license preferred.
• Case-management experience desired – Workers’ Comp preferred.
• Maintains knowledge of current trends, standards and law changes.
• Must be self-directed and able to work independently.
• Ability to effectively operate a personal computer and related claims and business software.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written. Team player. Good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic case-management in a Workers’ Compensation environment.
• Focus on medical appropriateness of care to injured worker with cost savings by coordination and utilization of all services.
• Facilitate communication between employee, employer, insurer, and providers to achieve return-to-work goals.
• Build rapport with client contacts to ensure retention and meet client expectations.
• Clinically evaluate recovery needs and update the plan with employer/provider input.
• Document all data in the computerized system and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate provider and vendor performance and care.
• Develop and adjust case management care plans as needed.
