Job summary

Davies North America is seeking an experienced Telephonic Nurse Case Manager to handle medical claims management for workers’ compensation, with a California RN license or endorsement within six months. The role is remotely based in the United States and reports to the Nurse Case Manager Supervisor.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, communicating with all stakeholders, developing care plans, and monitoring outcomes to promote timely return-to-work while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• RN with at least 3 years clinical experience in medical-surgical, orthopedic, neurological, ICCU, industrial, ER or occupational settings.
• Workers’ Compensation experience 3+ years.
• Proof of current State Licensure; compact license preferred.
• California RN, or ability to obtain California endorsement within 6 months.
• Case-management experience desired – Workers’ Comp preferred.
• Maintains knowledge of current trends, standards and law changes.
• Must be self-directed and able to work independently.
• Ability to operate a computer and claims software.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written; team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic case-management in a Workers’ Compensation environment to optimize medical care and return-to-work outcomes.
• Coordinate communication among employee, employer, insurer, providers, and rehabilitation resources.
• Develop and adjust case care plans; document in the system and monitor progress.
• Assess recovery and ensure timely, cost-effective care with quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with state guidelines and utilization review where applicable.
• Maintain patient privacy and advocate for the employee within regulatory standards.
