Job summary

OptumCare is seeking a Telehealth Urgent Care Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to provide telephonic/telehealth care 24/7. This remote, part-time role requires 20 hours per week with a mix of weekday, weeknights, weekends and holidays. You will deliver comprehensive virtual care, coordinate with care teams, and ensure compliant documentation.

Applicants must be NP licensed in NY with MSN/DNP, DEA active or obtainable, and 3+ years APC experience. Remote work options across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted NP license in New York.
• Ability to gain a collaborative practice agreement.
• APCs must have approval to practice autonomously where required.
• Graduate of an accredited MSN or DNP program.
• DEA licensure or ability to obtain post-hire.
• 3+ years of clinical APC experience.

Responsibilities

• Available on telephonic platform to coordinate care across providers, facilities and caregivers.
• Utilize EMR to provide acute care during all shifts and holidays.
• Deliver cost-effective, quality care for medical and behavioral conditions in collaboration with a physician or specialist.
• Document encounters accurately to support CMS requirements.
• Coordinate care as patients transition between care settings and levels of care.
• Participate in quality initiatives and maintain required training.
