Job summary

OptumCare seeks a National On Call advanced practice clinician (APC) for remote telehealth care. You will provide telephonic/telehealth care, coordinate with care teams, and support members 24/7 including holidays. Requires NY NP license, MSN/DNP, DEA authority, and 3+ years of APC experience.

This part-time remote role offers flexible weekend/holiday coverage with shifts mainly evenings and nights, and a sign-on bonus up to $30,000.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in NY.
• Graduate of an accredited MSN or Doctor of Nursing Practice program.
• DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire.
• 3+ years of clinical APC experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic/telehealth care and direction to patients, caregivers and facility staff 24/7.
• Utilize EMR to document and deliver acute/cost-effective care.
• Coordinate care across care settings and levels of care.
• Attend mandatory training and MyLearning requirements.
• Maintain patient privacy and secure telemedicine practices.
