Language Services Associates, Inc. seeks internationally based telephonic interpreters for Bassa to join its network of independently contracted interpreters. You will handle on-demand calls and facilitate LEP communication across diverse settings.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, professional conduct, and adherence to interpretation protocols. Preferred candidates have 1+ year of experience and relevant certifications; strong tech skills with web platforms, email, and Word are expected.

Formación

• Full fluency in English and Bassa.
• Technology proficient (web-based platforms, email, Microsoft Word).
• An interpreting space that is quiet, secure, and free from outside noises.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, Bridging the Gap, Cross-Cultural, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Provide effective telephonic remote interpreting
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner
• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
