This role welcomes interpreters of all languages and emphasizes strict confidentiality and professional conduct. Ideal candidates have full fluency in English and a target language, familiarity with web-based platforms and MS Word, and access to traditional or VoIP communication tools.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and the target language.
• Landline, cellphone, or VoIP capable.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI).
• Proof of 40+ hour medical interpreting training preferred (e.g., Bridging The Gap).

Responsibilities

• Provide effective telephonic remote interpreting.
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including confidentiality.
• Adhere to policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols.
• Complete training and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring.
