Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering virtual care across 44 states, with a focus on addiction treatment. We seek dedicated physicians licensed in at least five U.S.

states to join our fully virtual team; you set your schedule and work from anywhere with minimal admin overhead. As an independent contractor, you will provide high-quality virtual visits, handle assessments, and guide treatment, with compensation at $35 per completed consult or $105/hour equivalent for a 20-minute

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Active DEA registration and state CSL where required.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work 15+ hours weekly across four days, with advance scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and history reviews.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
