Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering fully virtual care across 44 states. Physicians join as independent contractors, set their own weekly schedule, and are compensated per completed consult with support from a provider team and streamlined EMR tools.

Requirements include active licenses in five or more states and a commitment to 15–20 hours per week. The role supports addiction treatment expansion and general telehealth services.

Qualifications

• Licensed in at least five U.S. states.
• Experience with telehealth or high-volume practice.
• Ability to work 15–20 hours weekly across four days.
• Strong communication and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Active DEA registration and state CSL where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
