Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own weekly schedule, work remotely, and are compensated per completed consult with increasing hourly pay as visit times shorten. The role requires multi-state medical licensure and provides support throughout credentialing.

All work is fully virtual with a focus on addiction treatment and expanding access to care, offering flexible hours and independent contractor status (1099).

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and history reviews.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (no controlled substances except buprenorphine for OUD).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, NPs, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices.
