Job summary

QuickMD, a leading telemedicine provider, offers fully virtual, independent-contractor roles across multiple states. Physicians set their own 15–20 hour weekly schedules, earning per-visit compensation and hourly pay as visit times vary.

Licensed in at least five U.S. states, candidates should have telehealth experience, DEA registration, and a passion for expanding access to care in underserved communities. Training and credentialing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs; training provided.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
