Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering high-quality virtual care across 44 states. Physicians licenced in at least five U.S. states join a fully remote team focused on addiction care and expanding access to care.

All visits are conducted virtually with comprehensive provider support and no office overhead. Independent contractors earn per-visit compensation, with 15–20 hours weekly and flexible scheduling within a structured weekly framework.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five states in the U.S.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses (costs covered by QuickMD)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to commit at least 15 hours weekly over four days
• Strong communication and commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs
• Active DEA registration and state CSL where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (no controlled substances except buprenorphine for OUD)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, NPs, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
