Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering virtual care across 44 states. Physicians can set their own visit schedule, work from anywhere, and practice with minimal administrative overhead, supported by a dedicated provider-support team.

All work is fully virtual with a 20-minute visit length at standard rates; compensation is per consult, with pay increasing as visit times shorten. The role emphasizes addiction care and expanding access to care for underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in five U.S. states (at least three of: AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses (costs covered by QuickMD).
• Active DEA registration and CSL where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
