Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering fully virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own weekly schedules as independent contractors, with compensation on a per-visit basis and no office overhead.

This role requires at least five U.S. state licenses and a minimum of 15 hours per week. Work from anywhere, using modern EMR and telehealth tools to deliver high-quality addiction and general telehealth services.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Preference for licenses in AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and CSL where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
