Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering fully virtual medical care across 44 states. Physicians set their own weekly schedule and operate as independent contractors, earning per-visit compensation and hourly rates.

We seek board-certified physicians licensed in multiple states, with telemedicine experience and a commitment to expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities. Training and support are provided, and malpractice insurance is fully covered.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Availability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
