Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own visit schedules within a structured weekly framework and work from anywhere, with compensation per completed consult and hourly equivalents as visit lengths change.

This fully virtual role requires an active medical license in at least five U.S. states, telehealth or high-volume experience, and 15–20 hours weekly across four days.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
