Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own weekly schedule, work from anywhere, and operate without traditional office overhead, supported by a streamlined EMR and a dedicated provider-support team.

We seek licensed physicians in at least five U.S. states for fully virtual work, spanning addiction medicine, primary care, internal medicine, and urgent care.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice medicine in at least five U.S. states (willing to obtain more; QuickMD covers costs)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Able to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted a week in advance
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence
• Familiar with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and CSL where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe certain controlled substances, except buprenorphine for MOUD)
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
