Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on network security and incident response.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and security technologies.
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and security analytics.
• Knowledge of cyber threats, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+) are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic and systems for security breaches and anomalies using SIEM and other tools.
• Analyze security alerts and escalate critical incidents for response.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on telecom systems.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and trends in telecoms.
• Collaborate with admins to implement security controls.
• Help develop and maintains incident response plans.
• Conduct security awareness training for staff.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations and standards.
• Prepare detailed security reports and management recommendations.
• Participate in security audits and reviews.
• Manage and configure security tools and technologies.
