ESPO Corporation is seeking a Planning & Design Engineer (Telecom) to work in a fully remote, long-term contract role. The position involves planning and designing broadband communication systems, coordinating construction, and ensuring project specifications are met.

You will collaborate with the project team, prepare diagrams and maps, validate documentation, reserve wavelengths, and maintain accurate design files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Liberal Arts, Engineering, GIS, etc.
• 2–5 years related telecom experience
• Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction and design of broadband communication systems.
• Work with project team to design systems and determine project specifications.
• Create construction jobs, validate documentation, and obtain additional information when needed.
• Update system maps, keys, diagrams, and design files; track documentation.
