Job summary

ESPO Corporation is seeking a Telecom Construction Specialist to support long-term projects within the Heartland footprint (MI, IN, KY). The role is virtual but requires residency in the footprint; anticipate field work up to 90% of time, including nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities include overseeing contractors, coordinating materials and labor, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met while providing technical guidance to procurement, design, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and read Coax and Fiber design prints.
• Background in cable industry / knowledge of National Electric Code
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
• Access to reliable ISP

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor activities of business partners to ensure tasks are updated on time in P2.
• Coordinate aspects of construction activities including materials, labor, and resource allocation planning.
• Provide technical advice and support to procurement, design, and construction teams.
• Monitor cost estimates and evaluate change orders from partners.
• Review new jobs to ensure task plans and scope of work are aligned.
• Update JT or Polaris entry for path verification.
• Interface with contractor day-to-day in the field and coordinate NGAN liaison with regional technicians.
• Ensure new/updated power supply is in place prior to cut date.
• Ensure overall quality of NGAN product from construction to handoff.
