Job summary

ESPO Corporation in Kansas City is seeking a Staff Telecommunications Engineer for a 12-month contract. This role involves designing telecommunication projects and collaborating with a diverse project team to ensure deliverables meet client standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in telecommunications design. A comprehensive benefits package, including PTO and insurance, is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 3 years of utility telecommunications project experience.
• Experience with large multidisciplinary projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design telecommunication project types and physical pathway infrastructures.
• Produce design drawings and work closely with project teams.
• Assist in project construction administration as needed.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Basic knowledge of telecommunications design

Proficiency in Bluebeam software

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering discipline
