Job summary

Sigma Technologies is seeking a Drafting Supervisor with telecommunications drafting and design experience to lead a remote team supporting Outside Plant (OSP) projects. You will oversee daily activities, set priorities with the Project Engineer, and ensure work meets specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.

This hands-on leadership role requiresguiding a team, mentoring members, and coordinating resources while performing drafting work alongside your team. Core hours are 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in telecommunications industry
• Supervisory/managerial experience preferred
• Advanced drafting/design knowledge in telecommunications
• Experience with Outside Plant (OSP) overhead wireline drafting/design
• Strong leadership and people development skills
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to plan, organize, and monitor progress to meet targets
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Supervise drafting team daily while performing the work yourself
• Coordinate with Project Engineer to set priorities and allocate resources
• Monitor performance and progress and report as required
• Support telecommunications drafting and design activities including OSP overhead projects
• Assist Project Manager with project coordination and execution
• Review procedures, specs, standards and documentation; implement improvements
• Coordinate with other teams to resolve issues
• Coach and mentor team members for skills and growth
• Manage performance reviews and disciplinary input
• Adapt leadership approaches as conditions change
• Perform other duties as assigned
