Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Telecommunication Field Technician to support FAA programs across Corpus Christi, Houston, and nearby areas. The role involves installing, maintaining, and testing networking and telecom equipment at customer sites, with regular travel between locations.

You will read equipment drawings, document field activities, and coordinate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve issues while maintaining accurate logs and reports. FAA clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 2 years post-secondary with related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for FAA programs and field systems.
• Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventive maintenance on telecom equipment at customer sites.
• Travel to remote customer locations within assigned area and occasionally beyond.
