Job summary

Brightspeed is seeking a Telecom Dispute Analyst to join our team in a fully remote role. You will investigate disputes, analyze tariffs and billing records, and prepare financial analyses to guide dispute outcomes.

You will collaborate across billing operations, network, finance, and carrier relations, manage case queues, and drive process improvements while ensuring compliance and timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Telecom dispute knowledge is essential, including access billing and variance investigation.
• Experience reading tariffs, contracts, and dispute workflows.
• Strong analytical eye with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Investigate telecom disputes by reviewing billing records, tariffs, contracts, and data.
• Analyze invoices, access charges, usage records, LD/IXC billing, and settlement details.
• Review FCC/PUC tariffs and contracts to validate charges.
• Collaborate with billing operations, network, finance, and carrier relations.
• Prepare detailed case summaries, financial analyses, and dispute recommendations.
• Process adjustments, credits, or escalations per policy.
• Maintain documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify dispute trends and propose process improvements.
• Manage dispute queues to meet TAT, SLA, and quality targets.
• Support system enhancements, workflows, and training.
