Job summary

Brightspeed seeks a Billing Analyst to execute monthly billing cycles across multiple segments using SAP BRIM. You will validate data, perform reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate invoicing while supporting revenue assurance efforts.

You will collaborate with IT, Finance, and Product teams to maintain BRIM master data and ensure compliance with SOX controls and tariff obligations in a fast-paced telecom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in billing operations, preferably in telecom, SaaS, or subscription billing environments.
• Experience with SAP BRIM modules (Convergent Invoicing, FICA, SOM) preferred.
• Familiarity with telecom product hierarchies, usage-based billing, and taxation (E911, USF, SLED) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly billing cycles across multiple business segments using SAP BRIM.
• Review and validate rating, charging, and invoicing data for pricing, taxes, discounts, and contractual terms.
• Perform pre- and post-billing reconciliations to ensure invoice integrity.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in source data, usage feeds, or customer hierarchies.
• Audit billing data for SOX compliance and tariff obligations.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Product to keep BRIM master data accurate.
• Support revenue assurance activities and reconcile billed vs unbilled usage.
