Job summary

Brightspeed is seeking a Billing Analyst to manage end-to-end billing processes across customer segments using SAP BRIM. You will ensure data accuracy, revenue assurance, and timely invoicing while coordinating with Finance, IT, and Customer Care to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes data validation, reconciliations, and opportunities for process improvements, all within a hybrid Charlotte office setting. A background in telecom billing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of billing operations experience, preferably in telecommunications, SaaS, or subscription-based billing environments.
• Experience with SAP BRIM modules (Convergent Invoicing, FICA, SOM) preferred.
• Familiarity with telecom product hierarchies, usage-based billing, and taxation (E911, USF, SLED) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly billing cycles across multiple segments using SAP BRIM.
• Review and validate rating, charging, and invoicing data for pricing, taxes, discounts, and terms.
• Perform pre- and post-billing reconciliations to ensure invoice integrity.
• Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies in source data or customer hierarchies.
• Develop and maintain billing dashboards and KPI reports for cycle completion and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Revenue Operations, and Customer Care to resolve disputes.
