Job summary

KGI Wireless, a leading telecom services provider, seeks a Project Manager (Telecom) to oversee forced disconnect carrier initiatives remotely. You will serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external providers across the decommission lifecycle, including coordination of meetings and reporting.

The role requires 5+ years of telecom PM experience, strong negotiation and cross-functional leadership, and ability to manage outages and complex escalations.

Qualifications

• Proven telecom project management experience across multiple sites and phases.
• Experience with circuit migration/decommissioning and vendor coordination.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with TDM and Ethernet provisioning lifecycles; AI tools a plus.
• PMP certification preferred; ability to manage multiple workstreams and escalations.

Responsibilities

• Host and facilitate daily/weekly meetings; document decisions and blockers; distribute notes to stakeholders.
• Manage end-to-end forced decommission projects from third-party providers to Client.
• Review, track, and assign decommissioning notifications to internal teams.
• Negotiate with third-party vendors/carriers for extensions with minimal network impact.
• Coordinate regular cross-functional meetings to align milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Escalate network outages or cutover failures and drive resolution.
• Prepare status updates, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership.
• Maintain standardized project tracking docs, workflows, and escalation playbooks.
• Coordinate with internal engineering/ops and external vendors for routing/migrations before final disconnect.
