Job summary
Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our Department of Psychiatry. This 100% virtual position follows a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule and aims to develop and lead an interdisciplinary team for evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and ER patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.
Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry is strongly desired.
Qualifications
- Board-certified psychiatrist licensed in Texas.
- Experience or training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry or Emergency Psychiatry preferred.
- Tele-psychiatry with 100% virtual care.
Responsibilities
- Provide tele-psychiatry services to hospitalized and ER patients.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans for complex cases.
