Qualifications

• Board-certified psychiatrist with current license.
• Candidates must be licensed in Texas and reside in TX, WA, FL, LA or GA.
• Position is 100% virtual with a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule.
• Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead an interdisciplinary team in evaluation and treatment of hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.
• Provide care and supervision in a fully virtual psychiatry model.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and emergency department staff to coordinate patient management.
