Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Associate Technical Writer to plan, develop, and maintain customer-facing content for the Help Center and internal product documentation. You’ll collaborate with the product team to ensure high-quality, self-serve content for customers, internal teams, and AI-enabled experiences.

You will work with SMEs, track progress to deadlines, and use AI tools to accelerate production while following governance and templates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience writing or editing web content.
• BA in English, Technical Communication, or related field.
• Basic HTML formatting.
• Strong English (C1+).
• Experience developing templates and processes for consistent delivery.
• SEO and GEO best practices.
• Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Passion for technology and SaaS products.
• Ability to distill technical jargon for customers.
• Familiarity with video content production (scripting, editing).
• Experience creating screenshots/visuals (Photoshop a plus).
• Strong organizational and basic project management skills.
• Experience moving content to CMS (draft to publish).
• Experience with Drupal 9+.
• Familiarity with AI tools in workflows.
• Interest in expanding AI use in content workflows.
• Product Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document product features accurately from SMEs.
• Produce technical articles for Help site (how-to, reference, FAQ, troubleshooting).
• Create content for eLearning modules or videos.
• Prepare internal documentation and visual aids (screenshots, GIFs).
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure technical accuracy.
• Track assignments and meet hard deadlines.
• Use AI tools to accelerate content production and improve quality.
• Lead content governance and process improvements.
• Contribute to templates, processes, and standards.
• Move content from draft to CMS and publish.
• Review feedback and implement changes.
• Support video production including scripting.
• Maintain the style guide for Help and Learning content.
• Interpret data (e.g., Google Analytics) to plan work.
• Optimize content for discoverability via search.
