Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a Technical Writer for a 100% remote role supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project. You will work with development teams to document technical requirements, software processes, and deployment guidance, using Microsoft productivity tools to create manuals, guides, and training materials.

The role requires residency in the continental US, a Bachelor's degree, and at least five years of technical writing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least five years of relevant technical writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and coordinate complex IT-related documentation, including manuals, reports, policies, procedures, and specifications.
• Develop and distribute communications concerning product releases, core functions, and process or policy changes.
• Edit documentation for style, clarity, consistency, and compliance with customer guidelines, provide feedback on drafts, and participate in documentation review sessions.
• Research complex technical concepts to create and update technical documents, workflows, and user manuals.
• Conduct interviews with technical staff and collaborate with end-users to gather accurate information for comprehensive documentation.
• Document and communicate organizational processes, develop training materials, and conduct process and code deployment training to support adoption across people, processes, and technology.
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
