Job summary

Globys, a division of Harris, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex Tier 1/2 customer issues. You’ll own tickets end-to-end, reproduce data anomalies with SQL, and guide clients through configuration fixes.

This remote role is open to US candidates in the Central Time Zone. Salary range is 65K–75K with a focus on rapid self-resolution, strong documentation, and AI-assisted problem solving.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years in a technical support, application support, or SaaS support role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate SQL proficiency: JOINs, subqueries, aggregations, and real-world data problems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact for Globys' international carrier customers, triaging, reproducing, and resolving issues at Tier 1/2.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across web app layers: front-end, API, data ingestion, config errors, portal access.
• Write and execute SQL queries to investigate data discrepancies and support RCA.
• Reproduce customer issues in non-production environments; develop workarounds and communicate progress.
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles, runbooks, and troubleshooting decision trees.
