Job summary

Globys, a division of Harris, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer who handles Tier 1/2 issues end-to-end for international carrier customers. You will diagnose data anomalies, reproduce issues with SQL, and guide clients through configuration fixes across web app and API layers.

This remote role is open to US candidates in the Central Time Zone. We value self-directed engineers who document findings, write RCA and KB articles, and use AI responsibly to accelerate problem solving.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years in technical support or SaaS support.
• Intermediate SQL proficiency: JOINs, subqueries, aggregations.
• Working knowledge of web app architecture and API interactions.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact for Globys' international carrier customers—triaging, reproducing, and resolving Tier 1/2 issues.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across web application layers: front-end behavior, API responses, data ingestion, configuration, portal access.
• Write and execute SQL queries against relational databases to investigate data discrepancies and support RCA.
• Reproduce issues in non-production environments and communicate workarounds while permanent fixes are developed.
