Job summary

UST is seeking a Technical Scrum Master with healthcare domain experience to lead agile delivery for data and AI teams. You will manage sprint ceremonies, refine backlogs with product owners, and drive delivery across Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and DevOps. Strong AWS, Databricks, and data pipeline knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum delivery supporting technical engineering teams.
• 4+ years in the US healthcare industry (preferred/required).
• Experience with data engineering, cloud analytics, or AI/ML teams.
• Strong Scrum/Agile knowledge and ability to manage complex dependencies.
• Experience with AWS and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Spark/PySpark, SQL, and data pipelines.
• Experience coordinating Data Engineers, ML Engineers, DevOps, Architects, and SMEs.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and enterprise tools.
• Scrum Master certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Scrum Master and Agile delivery leader for one or more technical data/AI teams.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Agile ceremonies.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
• Ensure stories have clear dependencies, estimates, and technical detail before sprints.
• Drive predictable sprint execution and improve velocity, quality, and delivery predictability.
• Identify and resolve impediments affecting team productivity and delivery.
• Track and communicate sprint, release, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Coordinate across teams with multiple data, application, infra, or ML teams.
