Job summary

UST is seeking a Technical Scrum Master with healthcare data and AI experience to lead agile delivery for data/AI teams. The role focuses on facilitating ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring a healthy backlog aligned with product goals.

You will collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers, and DevOps to deliver reliable data pipelines in AWS, while upholding HIPAA privacy and security requirements. Remote-US role with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Agile/Scrum delivery experience with technical engineering teams.
• 4+ years in the US healthcare industry (preferred/required).
• Experience with data engineering, cloud analytics, or AI/ML teams.
• Strong Jira experience and Agile delivery capabilities.
• Understanding of AWS and cloud-based environments.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, data lake concepts, and privacy considerations (PHI/PII/HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master and agile delivery leader for one or more data/AI teams.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
• Ensure stories have dependencies, estimates, and technical detail before sprints.
• Drive predictable sprint execution and improve velocity and delivery quality.
• Identify and resolve impediments across multiple teams and domains.
• Track sprint, release, milestone, and risk communication; coordinate cross-team dependencies.
