Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Agile Practitioner 2 to guide Scrum teams, foster a learning environment, and remove impediments in a healthcare tech setting. You will facilitate ceremonies, coordinate with cross-functional partners, and monitor delivery metrics to ensure program objectives are met.

The role emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and applying AI tools to streamline workflows while driving delivery excellence across multiple teams in a large enterprise.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Practitioner within an enterprise software development environment.
• 4+ years of experience facilitating core Agile/Scrum ceremonies (eg Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives)
• 4+ years of experience managing team dependencies, tracking delivery metrics, and monitoring financial spend/forecasts

Responsibilities

• Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams within a Release Train or Value Stream, establishing team cadence and facilitating ceremonies
• Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to team members to encourage adopting sound Agile practices
• Facilitate cross-team coordination and manage dependencies with external teams and stakeholders
• Identify, own, and remove delivery impediments for the team(s) and escalate risks as needed
• Maintain and communicate delivery metrics for transparency on progress and quality
• Manage Agile team financials including spend, forecasts, and periodic updates to stakeholders
• Establish a safe team environment focused on problem-solving and empowerment
• Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows and drive improvements
