Job summary

Momentive seeks a Technical Sales Engineer – Automotive, Electronic Materials to drive adoption of advanced materials for EVs, batteries, ADAS, and power electronics. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to OEMs, Tier 1s, and battery providers, translating design challenges into Momentive solutions and leading qualification efforts.

You will collaborate across marketing, product management, ADE, and R&D while supporting customer validation and expanding key accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sales, application engineering or related commercial experience in specialty materials or automotive sectors.
• Experience with automotive OEMs, Tier suppliers, or electronics manufacturers is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, and ability to present to engineering and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop opportunities for Momentive's Electronic Materials in automotive applications.
• Present technical solutions through demonstrations and customer engagements.
• Collaborate with marketing, product management, ADE, and R&D to align customer needs with development.
• Support qualification activities, testing, and supplier discussions with OEMs and Tier accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with engineering, procurement, and program management teams.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 50% as required.
