Job summary

Celerity Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead complex programs in utilities and energy. The role requires extensive delivery experience across ERP, data integration, and digital transformation initiatives.

You will partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met in a remote-capable environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in utilities/energy sectors.
• Proven track record delivering complex implementation projects.
• Consulting background with client-facing delivery.
• Strong understanding of utility operations, asset management, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership and talent development.
• Excellent planning, execution, and risk management skills.
• Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of programs.
• Develop charters, work breakdown structures, and execution plans.
• Manage cross-functional delivery teams including architects and developers.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies to manage scope and risk.
• Oversee configuration, integration, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA, Maximo, Oracle, and similar platforms.
• Coordinate with vendors for interfaces, data migration, and cutover planning.
• Support validation via UAT, defect triage, and issue resolution.
• Maintain RAID logs and governance documentation.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and vendor contracts with operations.
• Ensure profitability and compliance with contracts and timelines.
