Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional technical initiatives in a fully remote setting for a growing healthcare technology organization focused on data integration and interoperability.

The role drives Agile project execution, manages Jira/Confluence artifacts, and coordinates between stakeholders, engineering teams, and external partners to ensure successful delivery of healthcare technology projects. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; PMP/CSM is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Technical Project Management, Business Analysis, or related experience.
• Experience managing technical projects from requirements gathering through implementation.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SDLC methodologies.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• Experience writing requirements, user stories, and technical tickets.
• Healthcare technology experience with strong HL7 integration knowledge required.
• Familiarity with FHIR, APIs, SFTP, VPN, HTTPS, MFT, and related integration technologies preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project ownership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects within Agile pods from planning through deployment and post-release support.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and project status meetings.
• Create and manage Jira tickets, user stories, and project documentation.
• Track blockers, drive issue resolution, and oversee release management activities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
• Support healthcare data integration initiatives involving HL7, FHIR, APIs, and interoperability standards.
• Drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.

Compensation for the Technical Project Manager includes:

• Pay rate: $41-50/hr
