Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional technical initiatives in a fully remote environment.

The role focuses on agile project execution, collaboration with engineering and external partners, and delivering healthcare data integration solutions. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; PMP/CSM is a plus. Remote opportunity in the US with contract-to-hire potential.

Qualifications

2+ years of Technical Project Management, Business Analysis, or related experience.
Experience managing technical projects from requirements gathering through implementation.
Healthcare technology experience with HL7 integration knowledge required.

Responsibilities

Lead technical projects within Agile pods from planning through deployment and post-release support.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
Facilitate sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and project status meetings.
Create and manage Jira tickets, user stories, and project documentation.
Track blockers, drive issue resolution, and oversee release management activities.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
Support healthcare data integration initiatives involving HL7, FHIR, APIs, and interoperability standards.
Drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
