Planet is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead large, cross-functional initiatives spanning Engineering, Product, Design, and Space Systems. You’ll convert big-picture roadmaps into structured plans, manage timelines, and collaborate with customers to ensure successful deployments of defense and intelligence solutions.

You will translate complex requirements, mitigate risks, and drive scalable processes in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development or program management experience in SaaS, platform development, or analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with cross-functional teams across a broad organization.
• Thrives in ambiguous environments and can design scalable processes from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate end-to-end program execution across Engineering, Product, Design, Space Systems, Enablement, and Customer Support.
• Scope comprehensive program schedules and break down complex requirements into actionable milestones.
• Translate requirements across business and technical stakeholders with clear communication.
• Identify dependencies and risks and proactively mitigate them.
• Facilitate data-driven decision making and stakeholder alignment.
• Communicate progress, priorities, risks, and changes to Planet leadership and teams.
