Planet invites a Technical Program Manager to lead its largest cross-team initiatives across Product, Engineering, and Space Systems. You will turn roadmaps into executable plans, align stakeholders, and manage risks from concept through delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development or program management experience in SaaS, platform development, or analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across a large organization.
• Ability to design scalable processes and frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with product lifecycle: concept through deprecation and end-of-life.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.
• Ability to explain analyses to business leaders and discuss technical trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate end-to-end program execution across multiple teams to ensure releases.
• Create and manage comprehensive program schedules and milestones.
• Translate requirements clearly between business and technical stakeholders.
• Identify dependencies and risks and mitigate them proactively.
• Facilitate data-driven decision making and stakeholder communication.
• Keep stakeholders informed of progress, priorities, risks, and changes.
• Improve processes and ways of working to scale operations.
